What might a website cost?
We work with you to design a site that fits your budget. The costs depend on the complexity and size of the project.
A basic CMS site is estimated at $2000, which includes 30 hours of work, including installing and configuring the software on the hosting server, installing and configuring the necessary components, plugins, etc., customizing the template, and inputting sample content. Adding all the initial content will add to the cost, as will adding more complicated components – for instance, configuring a membership management system, event registration, or shopping cart will cost more than adding a simple feedback form. Additional functionality will add to the cost. Give is a call to discuss your project in detail.
Custom PHP, Databases, e-commerce and Flash sites must be quoted individually.
All quotes include domain registration, search engine submission, and visitor counters and stats. If the time spent in preparing the site does not reach the amount of the initial quote, we don’t charge the full amount – we only charge for the hours actually worked. However, if there are unforeseen complications that dramatically increase the hours and therefore blow the estimate, we’ll let you know about it so you can make informed decisions on how to proceed.
A signed contract and deposit are required before work begins.
Clients are presented with a preliminary draft design for a home page and navigation system, to be approved in advance of page construction. Once built, the draft site will be uploaded for final review before posting to its permanent location, whether hosted by Barleywine or the ISP of your choice.
Hosting
We can design a site that can utilize web space you may already have with your dial-up, DSL, or broadband ISP account, or your site can be hosted by Barleywine starting at only $10/month.
We also offer full service Web Hosting with domain name registration, 5 gigs of storage space, email, MySql databases, and configured with the technical ability to use all the special server applications required by Joomla, WordPress, ZenCart, as well as many others.
