Beginning my professional life as a television graphic designer in New York City in 1986, I worked with such clients as Viacom, Lifetime Television, Magno Video, Unitel Video, Miramax Films, Ron Howard, Ben Stiller, and Bill Moyers.
After leaving NYC for the rural life in Vermont, I designed my first website in 1997 to market my fledgling herb farm, and attracted more attention with the website than I did with the herb farm! People began to ask if I could do websites for them as well, and a new career was born.
I use Dreamweaver, Fireworks, and Flash, Photoshop, and Filemaker Pro for my web work; InDesign, Pagemaker, Quark, and Microsoft Publisher for print work. I also use Microsoft Word and WordPerfect for basic word processing.
In the past few years I’ve begun creating websites with Joomla, WordPress, Gallery2 and Zencart, while customizing the templates for them with old, reliable Dreamweaver.
I’m proficient on both Mac and PC, and am able to test all my websites on both platforms using eight different versions of the most popular browsers.
We are located in beautiful Weathersfield, Vermont, in an historic 200 year-old farmhouse with views of the mountains – truly the best of all worlds!
